Once upon a time there was a F¥*kdog. Named Poona. Poona was a very lonely F¥*kdog until one day she was visited by her Fairy God Phallus and taught how to play a fun game in her big pink box. Poona suddenly becomes a very popular F¥*kdog! Poona's adventures take her to the Kingdom of Do (where nobody did) ruled by a powerful television set. She meets, among others, Suzy-Suzy Cyber Assassin, a thespian shrub, lost space aliens, and she even talks to God! Poona finally grows old and must tell her fabulous story.

TheatreZone's production of Poona follows their success with another Jeff Goode favorite, The EIGHT: Reindeer Monologues. Jeff Goode is a director, actor, and author of over 50 plays. He is also a frequent contributor to the "Best Monologues of the Year" series from Smith & Kraus. Jeff is a co-founder of the original No Shame Theatre [Iowa City], and a founding company member of The Unusual Cabaret [Bar Harbor, Maine] and Pantechnicon Artworks [Chicago]. A cornfed Iowa youth, Jeff recently moved to California where he has written pilots for MTV [Undressed], Fox [Super Guy], UPN [Till Somebody Loses An Eye] and Canal Plus [Smash!World], and served on the writing staff of the F/X show Fast Food Films.
