Alice under Glass or The Wrath of the Inner Queen at the Montreal Fringe Festival.

Part Alice in Wonderland, part postmodern morality play, this comic improv odyssey weaves audience suggestions into scenes, music, and cartoon counterpoint created live from audience doodles, as the Mad Hatter, Duchess, Caterpillar, and Queen take Alice for a wild ride through our contemporary wonderland.

Alice unites the talents of acting company members Nancy Stillman, Mike Francis, Emily Culver, David Hanbury, and Danielle Fauteux Jacques, who bring their diverse backgrounds (reverend, physicist, musician, performance artist) to their myriad off-beat improv characters. They are also known for their acclaimed and soon to be acclaimed solo works; Of Lost Time, The Starry Messenger, Twilight Mystery, and Naked Underneath My Robes. Joining them is Venezuelan visual artist and former Montreal resident Adriana Mederos, improvising cartoon imagery from audience doodles and creating an ever changing visual landscape.
